The Department of International Relations/Erasmus+ of the Democritus University of Thrace is implementing, during the academic year 2026-2027, the student internship action within the framework of the European Erasmus+ Programme for long-term mobility with physical presence and long-term blended mobility (blended mobility is considered the combination of mobility with physical presence of at least 60 days in combination with a virtual component that facilitates collaborative online learning and teamwork) through the funds it secures each year. At the same time, it participates in the Erasmus+ Internship Group coordinated by Panteion University.

The action provides students from all study cycles (undergraduate-postgraduate-doctoral candidates) as well as recent graduates of the University of Thessaloniki, the opportunity to carry out an internship lasting 2 to 3 months, in organizations (e.g. Businesses, Non-Governmental Organizations, Research Centers, Educational Institutions, diplomatic missions, etc.) based in Erasmus+ program countries and in addition to the countries from Regions 13 and 14.

For the academic year 2026-2027 (call 2025), 1 Internship position has been approved for implementation for the Department of Physics.
