{"id":8644,"date":"2025-11-20T10:32:46","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T08:32:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/physics.duth.gr\/?p=8644"},"modified":"2025-11-20T10:34:15","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T08:34:15","slug":"duthhackathon-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/physics.duth.gr\/?p=8644","title":{"rendered":"DUThHackathon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>DUTh Hackathon: How we can shape the University of Tomorrow \u2013 Student and research teams from Democritus University of Thrace present innovative ideas and prototypes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DUTh Hackathon 2025, a new initiative of the Innovation Hub of the Democritus University of Thrace in collaboration with Mantis Beyond Innovation, invites students, researchers, faculty members, and administrative staff to co-shape the \u201cUniversity of Tomorrow\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The action aims to develop innovative ideas and functional prototypes that enhance education, research, interdisciplinary collaboration, entrepreneurship, the student experience, and the University&#8217;s connections with society and the market. With the guidance of experienced mentors, participants transform their ideas into solutions with substantial impact, culminating in the Final on November 30 in Xanthi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions are open until November 23 via the platform: <a href=\"https:\/\/duth.mantisims.gr\/open-calls\">https:\/\/duth.mantisims.gr\/open-calls<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information about the program can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/innovation.duth.gr\/hackathon\/\">https:\/\/innovation.duth.gr\/hackathon\/<\/a>. To facilitate our students&#8217; participation in the DUTh 2025 Hackathon, DUTH offers free transportation and accommodation in the dormitories of Xanthi (due to limited room availability, requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis).
